Nature Connection Walk

A series of nature connection walks to coincide with World Wellbeing Week, Self Care Day and Global Wellness Day.

Dates: 27 June, 24 July, 8 August

Relax and reconnect with nature, as we interact with the wetland world on an accessible stroll around WWT Slimbridge. Unwind and re awaken your senses, while experiencing the beauty and tranquillity nature has to offer us. Connecting with nature has been proven to boost positive emotions, lower stress, and can even help improve mental health.

The walk is approximately 1h30. The experience is aimed towards adults and older teenagers, but families are welcome if the parents think it is suitable for their child.

Please come in weather appropriate clothing and footwear, as we will be outside.

The route is accessible for most wheelchairs or mobility scooters, there are regular breaks in walking (every five to ten minutes) where those who wish to can sit to connect. Full accessibility plan is available on request.

Cost: This is a free walk but admission fees apply so if you are not a WWT member please book admission tickets seperately.
