Nature Journalling Workshop at Martin Mere

Date: 18 May

Time: 10am-1pm

Join author and poet Sarah Hunter for this nature journalling workshop, starting with a guided meditation session and a short journaling warm-up.

You will then set off into the reserve with three simple, mindful observation and gathering exercises. Back indoors, you will use what you have gathered to create short pieces for your journal and a haiku. Sharing is entirely optional and only if you feel comfortable.

The workshop will finish with a short meditation and guidance on how to keep using these techniques so that you can enjoy that beautiful experience again and again.

Sarah welcomes beginners to this workshop. It’s ok if your spelling, punctuation and grammar aren’t brilliant, or if you don’t have any birdwatching expertise, as this will be a wonderfully mindful experience that can be enjoyed by all.
