Linocut Printing Workshop with artist Sue Welfare

One day lino-cut workshop with artist Sue Welfare.

Join Sue to create your first linocut artwork and small edition of prints, or develop your lino cut printing skills if you have a little experience already.

Suitable for beginners and those with some experience of lino cut printing, the day’s workshop is informal and relaxed with lots of support and guidance. Working in black and white – although other colours will be available to print in if you prefer – We’ll be using light, shade, line and texture to explore our print ideas and develop a range of mark marking techniques and skills, before creating a final piece and a small edition of prints (A5 size)

All specialist materials and tools are provided.

Please wear either old clothes or and apron and bring any inspirational images or ideas you would like to develop as prints.

The workshop takes place in our warm and well lit pond room with views out onto bird feeders and wetlands beyond.

Lunch can be purchased from the Wigeon Cafe on the first floor of the visitor centre, but is not included in the workshop cost.

Tea and coffee and water is provided at the start of the day.

Use our postcode to plan your journey to the centre - PE14 9TN.

Time: 10am – 4pm

Cost: £90 per person
